Education

Humane education is one of the building blocks to inspire positive social transformation on the behalf of not only animals but people and the planet! Here at HSGS we are excited to share our mission with young leaders and empower them to make a difference! With many programs and ways to get involved there’s no time like the present to start making a difference in the life of an animal in need!

Nuzzle Buddies

The Nuzzle Buddy program will pair your child with an adoptable cat or dog in a comfortable environment. There your child is free to read their favorite books in a one-on-one setting. This time allows the animal a space to de-stress outside of the kennel while participants gain confidence and skills as a super star reader!

Parents and guardians are required to stay with the child for duration of session. Nuzzle Buddy sessions can count towards hours earned for school requirements!

Sessions take place Tues-Saturday between 10am, and 11am. To schedule a session please email: Sbeauchamp@huamnesocietysav.org/ or insert link?
