Found Pets at HSGS
The pets listed below are currently in the care of the Humane Society for Greater Savannah. They were either found by a member of the community and brought to HSGS or were abandoned on our property. Each pet will be listed here for 5 days during the ‘stray hold’ period. After the 5 day stray hold, they will be made available for adoption and can be viewed on our Adoption listings. HSGS posts found pets on Facebook and reports each found pet to Chatham County Animal Services (CCAS). Stray animals are the responsibility of CCAS but HSGS can provide assistance in certain situations. If you have a question about an animal on this page please use the form below to contact us.
