Camps!

Get ready to unleash your inner animal hero at our Junior Vet Academy Summer Camp, where paws-itively fun meets real-world science, giving kids hands-on adventures in animal care, from practicing stitches on plush pals to discovering hidden animal secrets with real vets and shelter animals, making learning feel like play while building future career dreams.

Does your child dream of helping furry, feathered, or scaly friends? Our Junior Vet program is the ultimate summer adventure for animal lovers, blending thrilling activities with serious STEM learning at the animal shelter!

What Makes It Awesome?

  • Hands-On Healing: Learn basic anatomy, practice bandaging, and even try suturing on stuffed animals, just like real vets do!

  • Meet Real Heroes: Hang out with actual veterinarians and shelter staff, getting insider tips on pet health and behavior.

  • Animal Encounters: Get up close (and safely) with shelter residents, learning how to read their body language and care for them.

  • Science in Action: Explore everything from X-rays and microchipping to building models of the circulatory system.

  • Fun & Friends: Make new buddies who love animals as much as they do, with themed weeks and engaging games.

Imagine this:
Your camper won't just be playing; they'll be discovering how to give animal check-ups, understand different species' needs, and maybe even witness a spay/neuter surgery (for older groups!). It's learning through play, leading to big smiles and even bigger knowledge!
