There are many ways to help support The Humane Society for Greater Savannah. All funding for HSGS is by private donation from individuals, businesses, trusts, foundations and grants; bequests; special events; and from our “Pick of the Litter” Thrift Shop. We receive NO funding from any government agency and NO money from any national animal welfare organization including the Humane Society of the United States.
The Humane Society for Greater Savannah is an independent, unaffiliated 501(c) 3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.
Make a one time or recurring donation below or scroll down the page to explore other ways to support HSGS.
Give a gift to honor or in memory of a loved one or pet. These donations make thoughtful gifts for occasions such as:
- The birthday or wedding of a friend or family member
- The loss of a friend or loved one who was an animal lover
- The recent loss of a pet
- The anniversary of the day you adopted your beloved pet
Donations can be made to commemorate many different occasions: The recipients of tribute gifts receive a letter from HSGS announcing your gift.
Including the Humane Society for Greater Savannah in your final giving plans makes a powerful statement about your love of pets and their importance in your life. Remembering HSGS in your Will, Trust or other estate plans will allow us to continue to help thousands of homeless pets with loving care and by finding them the new homes they need and deserve.
Please contact us at email@example.com or at (912) 354-9515 x114 to speak with our Development Department for more information.
