It was a chilly morning but the dogs were out in numbers … and they even brought their owners ! Visit the following links for pictures and video:
The Dog Lover’s Walk at The Landings was very successful – surpassing last year’s fundraising and attendance numbers. With so many volunteers and gifts-in-kind – thank you one and all – we were able to reduce expenses as well. That means more money to support shelter operations and adoptions.
Special thanks to these generous supporters: The Landings Association and Security, Messiah Lutheran and Skidaway Island Baptist Churches, Smith Brothers, Photos by Becky and TCH Mobile Grooming. We could not have done it without our repeat Co-chairs, Landings residents Nancy Sheets and Diane Munroe; Joyce Glenn who organized the agility demonstration and Bob and Debbie Fischer who helped with everything! Thank you also to ALL the team organizers and their contributors, sponsors, walkers, volunteers and friends of the Humane Society. We appreciate your hard work raising funds and awareness for the shelter – thank you.
