Julia Sullivan
President
The Law Office of Julia H. Sullivan, LLC
Julia H. Sullivan practices law at her firm located in downtown Savannah. Julia has a B.A. in Anthropology from Beloit College. She obtained her J.D. from Southwestern Law School. She has a range of professional experience including- an internship after college with the AIDS Care Network in Rockford, Illinois, serving with the United States Peace Corps as a Rural Health Education Extension Worker in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa, and working with various legal services organizations during law school. Julia is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Children's School at St. John's Church and the Pro Bono Committee of the Savannah Bar Association. Julia enjoys cooking, reading, jogging, travelling and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband and three children, she shares her home with her rescues- a cat, Stella, and a dog, Lucy, whom is a HSGS alumna.

Kathryn Williams
Past President
Co-Owner, North Beach Grill
Kathryn Williams is a retired educator of nearly 30 years. She has an M.A. in Education and is co-owner of the North Beach Bar & Grill on Tybee Island. She is the third member of her immediate family to serve as the president of the board of directors of the Humane Society for Greater Savannah and follows her mother, Gloria Leonard, and late aunt, Joyce McDowell in this position. Kathryn lives on Tybee's Back River with her husband Steve, their rescue dogs Talley and Zeke, and Cleo, a 17-year-old orange tabby cat.

Nancy Reyes works in the role of Controller at Savannah Morning News, a division of Morris Publishing Group. Previously Nancy served as Budget Manager at Memorial Health. She has also held financial leadership roles at Gulfstream Aerospace and Suntrust Bank. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mercer University with a B.A. in Finance and Management. She received her M.B.A. from Georgia Southern University. Nancy is a native of Savannah, GA and currently resides in Pooler, GA with her husband, 2 children and many adopted pets.

Secretary
VP of Community Investments, United Way of the Coastal Empire
Pfeffer McMaken is Vice President of Community Investments at United Way of the Coastal Empire in Savannah, Georgia. Previously, Pfeffer spent ten years working for public broadcasting at networks in Boston, Massachusetts, Portland, Maine and Savannah. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from University of Georgia and lives in Savannah with her husband, Ryan, and their dogs, Jasper and Bob.

Edward Ambrose
Financial Advisor, Bouchillon, Ham & Ambrose Group
Eddie Ambrose is a financial advisor with the Bouchillon, Ham & Ambrose Group. Previously he spent ten years as a financial services policy advisor to multiple members of the United States Congress, as well as several major investment banks, private equity groups and private investment funds. Eddie is a graduate of Allegheny College, where he received a B.A. in History, captained the men's varsity golf team and earned Academic All-American honors. He earned an M.B.A. in Finance from the Robert Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He resides on Skidaway Island with his wife, Caroline. Eddie enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephews and his feline family members, Murphy and Molly.

Eddie Culver
President, Culver Rug Co., Inc.
Edwin H. (Eddie) Culver is a graduate of Savannah Country Day School and Stetson University where he earned both his B.B.A. and M.B.A. degrees. He is President of Culver Rug Co., Inc. and has served on the boards of the Savannah Chapter of the American Red Cross, Savannah Country Day School, The Rotary Club of Savannah, St. John’s Episcopal Church, The German Heritage Society and the City of Savannah – Park and Tree Commission. Eddie is married to the former Robbie Hoffman, also of Savannah, and they have two children, Brian and Kristin, and four grandchildren.

Bryna Gordon
Manager of Corporate Communications, Memorial Health
Bryna Gordon is the manager of corporate communications at Memorial Health. She served as Humane Society president in Tallahassee, Florida before moving to the Savannah area. While in Tallahassee, she also served on the city’s animal shelter control board overseeing the staff and daily operations of the shelter. In addition, she was a board member for St. Francis Wildlife Refuge. Since moving to Savannah, she has been an active volunteer with several animal rescue groups including PAWS of Effingham. Bryna lives on a farm in Effingham County with her husband, daughter, and several rescued animals.

Jessica Kelly

Jessica Kelly is a principle partner of Engel and Volkers. Jessica specializes in property sales in Historic and Metro Savannah. Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina in 1999, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Jessica owns a small boutique called Twinkle in Downtown Savannah’s City Market. In her free time, Jessica enjoys exploring Savannah’s thriving art and music scene. She lives in the historic Gordonston neighborhood with her husband Joachim and their animal family, including a lab, Rodeo, adopted from HSGS. Jessica’s affiliations include the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Business Association, Historic Savannah Foundation, and the national, state and local Board of REALTORS.

Linda Rice
Branch Manager, BankSouth
Linda Rice is branch manager at BankSouth’s Stephenson Ave location. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the banking industry. She has served as treasurer for Warren Women of Today and also served as a counselor for a group of girls through weekly classes and at a summer camp. Linda has two daughters, one son-in-law and two grandchildren.

Ellen Schoolar
Partner, Lowe & Schoolar
Ellen Schoolar is a partner with the law firm Lowe & Schoolar. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, the Savannah Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Environmental Law Institute. She has a B.A. in Classical Studies from Millsaps College. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law. She enjoys volunteering for a number of non-profit corporations.

Stephen Weeks
Partner, The Sabre Solution
Stephen E. Weeks, III is a partner in The Sabre Solution, an advertising and web design firm in Savannah. He has been a frequent contributor to the Savannah Morning News for the past 15 years as a sports writer and a golf columnist. He serves on the board of trustees for the Greater Savannah Athletic Hall of Fame and has served on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Committee for the past two years. Stephen’s primary devotion is to his wife, Ruth, and their four children, but he is also deeply committed to the family’s 5-year-old Golden Retriever, Dr. Herschel Brown.

Concierge, Old Savannah Tours
Julia Williams is a hotel concierge for Old Savannah Tours. She is a graduate of St. Vincent's Academy and the Medical University of South Carolina. She has been married to Charles L. Williams for nearly 39 years. She has one cat, two Scottish terriers, a Pekingese and a Shih Tzu, all of whom were adopted. She is a member of the Georgia Equine Rescue League, where she participates in the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of horses that were impounded by the Georgia Department of Agriculture. She is a member of the Junior League of Savannah. She enjoys traveling, reading at least two books per week and spending time with her husband.
