The Club at Savannah Harbor will be hosting their 4th putt putt golf tournament to benefit the Humane Society shelter.

We have kittens, puppies, cats and dogs.
Vaccinated, spayed or neutered and microchipped.
FREE inflatable pool with every adoption.

That’s more than 11 adoptions/day so we will be introducing a new referral program “No Buddy Left Behind.”  Details coming soon.

We have switched from Paypal to Stripe Payment Processing.  This means you will not have to leave our site (and go to Paypal) while making a donation.  Everything will be processed on one page.

Animal Control

For those of you who may not be familiar with our relationship with Animal Control

Knox came from Animal control. Being a larger dog with a boisterous personality and no known background, we decided that Operation New Hope would be a good place for him to learn some manners and also give him a chance to show us what he was all about. Turns out he was a fast learner, and now loves his new family!

whenever we have space, we visit the Animal Control shelter to choose adoptable dogs for transfer to us – recently, on a nearly daily basis. We select dogs based on health and temperament. We also look for dogs that are different from those already up for adoption at our shelter. The more quickly dogs get adopted at HSGS, the more dogs we can take from Animal Control. Read More…
