Looking for the love of your life but can’t commit without a first date? Want a pet, but only for a few weeks? Or how about a weekend buddy to go for a romp in the park? Try fostering!
If you have visited the shelter and found a pet that you would like to adopt, but can’t quite make the decision, try an overnight to see if you like each other.
Our greatest need for foster is to allow certain animals to adjust, recuperate, or have a break from life at the shelter. Dogs going through heartworm treatment need a quiet place to rest for about 4-6 weeks. Kittens and puppies that aren’t quite old enough to be adopted need a home to grow for 2-4 weeks. Dogs that just need a break would love to be your weekend pal.
Give us a call and we can tell you about our pets in need. 912-354-9515
